INFORMATION

The EAUC is responsible for monitoring students’ welfare, financial affairs and, academic progress. However, the local law stipulates that universities in Australia are not permitted to share students’ details and results to any third party, including sponsors.
 
Brunei government sponsored students and loan receiptients are required to provide access to information that will assists the EAUC in providing the necessary support and assistance required by any Brunei overseas student while studying in Australia or New Zealand.

has prepared the Information Disclosure Form - IDF that will allow the universities to grant the EAUC access to academic and financial records of Brunei government sponsored students and loan receiptients.




    


BRUNEI GOVERNMENT SPONSORED STUDENTS
All students under MOE (including doctors), DANA, BAS, MORA, UBD, SBPP, MINDEF, MOFAT, MOH, In-Service, are required to must complete and email the Information Disclosure Form - IDF  to EAUC at [email protected], within two (2) weeks after their arrival in Australia/New Zealand. This form will authorise your university or institution to provide EAUC with the following information:
             
  • Full name and contact details;
  • Course attendance and progress;
  • Course results, academic statements and official transcripts ; and
  • Financial status.

PRIVATE AND SELF-FUNDED STUDENTS
Private and self-funded students can use the Information Disclosure Form Private - IDFP and will allow your university or institution to provide the EAUC with the following information:

  • Full name and contact details; and
  • Student Welfare including medical and health coverage.
    
NOTE
Though change of course is discouraged, but once permission is granted by the student-sponsor, a new disclosure form must be forwarded to EAUC.
